RNGDLE looks simple, but the five-digit range makes every guess matter. Start with a broad anchor, read the direction clue, then compress the search space until the answer is forced.

CLUE SYSTEM
Three signals, one hidden number.
The game does not reveal digits individually. Instead, it gives compact numeric feedback: direction, proximity, and final confirmation. That keeps the puzzle quick while still rewarding careful interval narrowing.
- Too low - the target is greater than your guess.
- Too high - the target is smaller than your guess.
- Close - your guess is within 1,000 of the answer.
- Hit - exact match, puzzle complete.
SMART OPENERS
Try a binary-search rhythm.
With six guesses, a balanced strategy is usually better than random poking. Start near the middle, split the remaining interval, then switch to close-range precision once an orange clue appears.
Guess the middle

Halve again
Move to the midpoint of the remaining range after every direction clue.
Exploit close
When the clue turns orange, shift from broad search to tight local scanning.
